About
A medieval village with fortified ramparts, a motte féodale and a donjon, and an interpretive trail to help you discover its history. It's well worth a stop if you're taking the itinerary bis (the tourist route) to or from Toulouse!
Tourtouse is a small village in the Ariege Volvestre region, close to Sainte Croix Volvestre and its royal forest. Discover this small village and its feudal motte on a 1.5-hour stroll through its typical hamlets. Within the village walls, part of the ramparts has been restored as an open-air theater: to experience a show here is a magical moment! The Remp'arts association offers an eclectic program.
